SYMPHONY IN RED AND KHAKI I By Laurie Maitland

SYMPHONY IN RED AND KHAKI I By Laurie Maitland. A contemporary abstract painting, which for me reminds me of the pain and joy in life. Both physical of being bullied at school which is hard to let go, and the small moments of pleasure, relaxing, watching the sun set, or that small square of chocolate.

The red at the bottom makes me think of warm sunset with fields of sorrow glowing. Barbed wire in black keeping you away swimming in that ever so brief moment warmth from the sun.

But, that is only my impression. To purchase, click the image to taken to the page.
